Two Round NFL Mock Draft (Pre-Super Bowl)

So many things are still unknown, from head coaching decisions, from final draft order to what happens in free agency, but I put together a two-round mock for a snapshot of what might happen in April. I love to discuss all things football, so feel free to hit me up on Twitter at @ftballdialogue or patschuster72 at comcast.net

Bears; Will Anderson Jr. EDGE | Alabama …assumption is they add offensive talent via free agency for Fields and use this pick to build a defense.

Texans; Bryce Young QB | Alabama …QB1 of this draft and will likely start day one, but hopefully, Houston adds a quality HC who knows how to develop Young.

Cardinals; Jalen Carter DL | Georgia …beast in the middle to build the defense around. One man can not block Carter.

Colts; C.J. Stroud QB | Ohio State …the last stop QB carousel has stopped, and Indy finally gets a young signal caller to move forward.

Seahawks; Myles Murphy EDGE | Clemson …Seahawks overperformed this year but got the benefit of these picks thanks to Denver’s failures. Murphy gives them the edge pressure they need.

Lions; Bryan Bresee DL | Clemson ….Keep adding to that defense.

Raiders; Paris Johnson Jr. OT | Ohio State….Las Vegas likely goes the free agent market for QB, so they must protect the next signal caller.

Falcons; Tyree Wilson EDGE | Texas Tech ..Atlanta could go Levis here, but it feels like Tannehill is on his way, so they add an edge rusher instead.

Panthers; Will Levis QB | Kentucky …Future signal caller for whoever is the head coach. Levis will need time but has the tools.

Eagles; Christian Gonzalez CB | Oregon …With so many free agents on defense, the Eagles reload with this big corner who can slide right into Bradberry’s spot as he likely leaves this off-season

Titans: Peter Skoronski OT | Northwestern …help the offensive line with this addition, and Derrick Henry is happy.

Texans: Quentin Johnston WR | TCU …big strong target for Bryce Young to lean on.

Jets: Broderick Jones OT | Georgia ….likely adding a vet QB this offseason but still need to improve the line.

Patriots: Jordan Addison WR | USC ….Add the awarding winning wide receiver for Mac Jones to get back on track with Bill O’Brien.

Packers: Michael Mayer TE | Notre Dame …Added wide receivers last year, now the reliable Jason Witten-type tight end.

Commanders: Joey Porter Jr. CB | Penn State …the only team to fail to make the playoffs from the NFC East. They need help in the secondary to slow down the offenses they face.

Steelers: Kelee Ringo CB | Georgia….Great add for Pittsburgh as Ringo is battle tested and should benefit from pro coaching.

Lions: Devon Witherspoon CB | Illinois ….Likely the most underrated prospect, Witherspoon will be a Dan Campbell favorite as he locks in on the opponent’s number one receiver.

Buccaneers: Anthony Richardson QB | Florida …Brady years have ended, and Richardson has Cam Newton skills but better in many ways.  He will need time, but it should be a long-term answer.

Seahawks Clark Phillips III CB| Utah….Pete Carroll keeps adding to his side of the ball. Phillips is underrated and a day-one starter

Chargers: Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR | Ohio State ….New weapon for Justin Herbert as they try to put the playoff fiasco behind them.

Ravens: Bijan Robinson RB | Texas ….Special talent should contend for ROY and take pressure from Lamar Jackson or whoever is the QB.

Vikings: Cam Smith CB | South Carolina …Number one needed this offseason is to improve the defense for the overperforming Vikings. Smith is a likely day-one starter who is not Horn but is very good.

Jaguars: Jalin Hyatt WR | Tennessee …Another explosive option for Trevor Lawrence.

Giants: Trenton Simpson LB | Clemson ….They would have loved a wide receiver, but it would have been a reach. Instead, add stud LB to their defense which needs players.

Cowboys: O’Cyrus Torrence IOL | Florida ….Dallas would have loved a corner, but anyone left at this point is a reach, so instead, they continue to improve the side of the ball that let them down in the playoffs. Torrence slides into McGovern’s spot.

Bills: Jahmyr Gibbs RB | Alabama ….Obvious need, and with the new idea of not taking running backs in round one, Buffalo gets the number two sitting for them at 27 and should be in contention for ROY.

Bengals: Anton Harrison OT | Oklahoma … Keep adding offensive linemen as if that area ever becomes a strength. This team would be unstoppable.

Broncos: Isaiah Foskey EDGE | Notre Dame ….Denver rebuilds and replaces the move of Chubb and the lack of production from Gregory.   A lot depends on HC.

Chiefs: B.J. Ojulari EDGE | LSU ….Obviously, a need pick here and a potential steal as Clark likely moves on.

Eagles: Nolan Smith EDGE | Georgia …would not be available had he not gotten hurt. Smith will help replace the veteran exodus this off-season. Smith is a stud who will become a starter in 2023.

Lions: Henry To’oto’o LB | Alabama –Keep building that defense.

Jaguars: Tuli Tuipulotu DL | USC

Giants: Garrett Williams CB | Syracuse …would have been a late 1st round if not for his injury

Cowboys: Marvin Mims WR | Oklahoma ….Dallas needs weapons, and Mims has HR ability.

Bills: Jordan Battle S | Alabama An absolute steal at this point.

Bengals: Darnell Washington TE | Georgia. He excels at blocking and will grow in the passing game.

Panthers: Zach Harrison EDGE | Ohio State

Chiefs: Cody Mauch OT | North Dakota State

Eagles: Brandon Joseph S | Notre Dame

Bears: Xavier Hutchinson WR | Iowa State …big target for Justin Fields
